Xthink ( http://www.xthink.com ) a annoncé hier la disponibilité effective de son mathjournal en version 2.0. Ce fantastique logiciel de mathématiques ( résolutions symboliques directement avec des équations écrites à la main) voit son nombre de fonctions considérablement augmenté et surtout sa capacité de reconnaissance de l'écriture manuscrite encore amélioré pour mieux prendre en compte la façon dont les gens écrivent les équations mathématiques au niveau des symboles.

Du coté des fonctions mathématiques ce sont les statistiques qui font leurs apparations ainsi que les matrices (enfin) chose occultée hélas de la première version. les nombres complexes et les vecteurs font leurs apparitions.

Enfin des améliorations importantes ont été apportées dans les exports MathML mais aussi dans les exports direct vers la suite bureautique Microsoft Office.

Le prix est de $119USd pour les étudiants et $249USD pour les utilisateurs non étudiants
