Microsoft poste régulièrement des exemples de développement et d'utilisation du SDK Tablet PC sur son site, généralement sur MSDN. ces exemples sont soit des articles complets avec des exemples de codes commentés, soit des petit fichiers exemples à télécharger largement commentés; ils offrent les bases pour découvrir les principes d'utilisation d el'encr numériue dans des applications optimisées.

Voici un petit point sur les articles publiés au cours de ces derniers mois qui font un focus important sur la prise en main de l'API Tablet PC au sein de WIndows Vista

  • Image Colorizer : Demonstrates how to write an application for colorizing digital photos using the inking support provided by Tablet PC APIs

  • Adding Ink to Video in .NET Framework 3.0 (Visual Basic .NET) : The objective of this lab is to demonstrate how to create an application in which you can add ink to video. You will also learn how to add custom rendering of ink to highlight the ink on your video. Finally, you learn how to record the ink added to the video and play it back as it was written while the video is playing.

  • Using Ink Analysis with Windows Presentation Foundation (Visual Basic .NET) : This lab will make you familiar with the basics of ink analysis as it is used in the Microsoft® Windows® Presentation Foundation

You will: Add basic analysis to an ink-enabled form. Improve ink analysis results by using analysis hints. Use analysis hints to populate text boxes. Use InkAnalysis APIs to analyze free-form ink Display the results of ink analysis on free-form ink. Add a predetermined style to your application

  • Tablet PC: Stylus Input APIs (C#) : The objective of this lab is to familiarize you with using the Tablet PC RealTimeStylus (RTS) APIs. To do so, you will create a pair of RTS plug-ins. The first plug-in is a packet filtering plug-in that demonstrates packet modification by constraining all (x,y) packet data within a rectangular area. The second plug-in is a custom dynamic renderer plug-in that renders stylus input by drawing a small circle around each (x,y) point. You will then use your plug-ins in a sample application that is provided for you
