Wacom a annoncé avoir fait l’acquisition de la société Touchscreen Konnection Oasis, Inc. (TouchKO), une société texane spécialisée dans les interfaces tactiles. Avec cette acquisition Wacom va accélérer le développement de technologies Dual en intégrant plus faciemment les technologies tactiles avec son brevet sur les interfaces électromagnétiques à resonnances qui équipent plus de 95 % des Tablet PC professionnels.

Le portefeuille de clients de TouchKO renforcera aussi l’implémentation de solutions Wacom dans une multitudes de constructeurs de matériels de type UMPC et Tablet PC.
