800x480 est la résolution optimale du R2H, autrement appellée WVGA. Toutefois les résolutions 800x600 et 1024x768 sont également supportées.
La majorité des origami sortis en 2006 utilisent cette résolution (Founder, tabletkiosk eo 7100 series, 7200 series, Samsung Q1, Q1B, etc etc)

Veuillez suivre les étapes suivantes pour accéder au BIOS du R2H:
- Connectez un clavier au R2H.
- Mettez le R2H sous tension.
- Lorsque l'écran affiche le logo ASUS, appuyez sur F2 pour entrer dans le menu de configuration du BIOS.

I have found the full way to install FULL TPC2005 and MCE2005 Components in XP Home/Pro/MCE/TPC/Server2003(Retail/OEM/VOL Version),and all functions work Perfect!
I call it Windows Ultimate Edition...................
it had Become True on a IBM X41T Tablet PC and Sevral Desktop PCs!

i know that Media Center and Tablet PC components can run on Windows XP Pro..but my way is different..ithere are some advantages:
1.My Windows XP/2003 Ultimate Edition can use the corporate Edition(VOL)
2.my Windows XP Ultimate Edition is both MCE2005 and TPC205,can get updates on Windows Update for MCE2005&TPC2005!
3.I have not modified any files..all tools iused are Microsoft-Official!

Windows XP/2003 Ultimate Edition
This way can turn following OS to Ultimate Edition:
Windows XP Home/Pro/Tablet PC Edition/Media Center Edition WITH SP2
Windows Server 2003 WITH SP1

1.Install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0
Install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0.3705 and It's SP3.
2.modify registry
Open regedit.exe, goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA, create 2 keys named “MediaCenter” and “TabletPC”. Create DWORD Value named “Installed” in these 2 keys and valued “1”.
“Installed” value in “MediaCenter” of Vol XP OS must be String Value but DWORD value. And “Installed” value in both “MediaCenter” and “TabletPC” key in all server 2003 OS must be string values. Because there are no WinXP MCE VOL and Win 2003 MCE&TPC versions. You can’t login if these values are DWORD!
If there is “Installed” valued “0” in “MediaCenter” in your Windows XP, you can not modify it in current OS.you must use “load HIVE” function in other OS like this: Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. From the File menu, choose Load Hive, Navigate to the registry location on your OS such as c:\windows\system32\config\system,name it “temp”.after you modified the value to “1”,click temp,choose “unload HIVE” to save it.
3.install Media Center and Tablet PC Components
Get medctroc.inf, tabletpc.inf, plusoc.inf, sonic.inf (Get them at Post #40),copy them to C:\windows\inf\,then Run following commands to install MCE2005 and TPC2005 components.
Format:rundll32 setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection < section > 128 <INF filename>
（NOTE: Capital sensitive for “InstallHinfSection” and there are 4 blanks）

4.fix Tablet PC input panel and screen keyboard
Download Copy2gac.exe tool, expand it into C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705.open command prompt, run [C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\Copy2Gac.exe /i /a /p:"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\1.7\"],if prompt “Installed 5 Assemblies into GAC.”,this step is success.
5.NOTE
1.Please open full Video and Audio acceleration in Windows Server 2003
2.this way also can be applied to Windows XP/2003 x64 Edition, Both “Installed” must be string values
3.if you have MCE remote control,MCE remote keyboard and Tablet PC pen, you can use Drives for XP in Windows Server 2003.
4.Can not install MCE&TPC upgrades in Windows Server 2003 because the OS is not WinXP,and there're some other problems by this cause.
5.Can not install Update Rollup 2 for MCE2005 when "Installed" is string value.so when you use XP VOL, you can expand "WindowsXPMediaCenter2005-KB900325-XXX.exe",and install upgrades listed in "paths.ini" manual. |

Pour une utilisation en extérieur, deux options sont possibles avec un Tablet PC
soit utiliser un Tablet PC du commerce (donc classique) avec un écran pour l'extérieur dit outdoor ou pour à la fois l'intérieur et l'extérieur (indoor/ outdoor) et lui mettre une housse de protection dessus (renforcée, en kevlar, ou en cuir simple, ou permettant de le mettre sous l'eau comme les OutterBox).

soit utiliser un Tablet PC spécifiquement adapté pour travailler en extérieur en milieu hostile (eau, poussière, chute contre le sol) dit rugged ou renforcé. Ce matériel est étudié spécifiquement pour répondre aux Normes IPxx
