To remove the download file, delete the file OneNoteImageWriter.msi.

1. Ensure that no programs are using the printer.
2. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
4. In the list of currently installed programs, select OneNoteImageWriter PowerToy and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
5. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.

Addtional installation instructions

Early versions of the OneNoteImageWriter required the user to manually install or uninstall the printer depending on the situation. If you are upgrading to the latest version of the powertoy from version 1.0.0.4 or earlier, you will need to follow the additional instructions for Removing the printer prior to uninstalling the old version and installing the new one.
Adding the printer:

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Printers.
2. Click Add Printer and add a local printer, attached to the OneNote Image Writer Port:.
3. When prompted to select a manufacturer and model for the printer:
1. Click Have Disk.
2. Navigate to the directory that was selected during the installation.
3. Select onpdll.inf.

Note: The driver has not been digitally signed and you will need to accept the unsigned driver to complete the installation.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

Removing the printer:

1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Printers.
2. Select the OneNote Image Writer printer and delete it.
3. On the File menu, select Server Properties.
4. On the Drivers tab, delete the OneNote Image Writer driver.
