Le Tablet PC avantagé par Windows XP 64

Microsoft a publié un mini guide des différences notables entre Windows XP Professionnal 32Bits et Windows XP 64Bits. Il est disponible en télchargement gratuit ici.

A noter qu'une des améliorations intégrées est le support du Tablet PC Input Panel du Tablet PC qui permet, sur une tablette, lorsque l'on prend en Remote Control une station XP 64Bits, de pouvoir utiliser ce composant sur la tablette pour envoyer des commandes ou autres informations dans la console Remote Control. Cette opération n'était semble t'il pas possible avec un Windows XP Pro 32 Bits.

Unicode keyboard input support allows the client computer to receive Unicode keyboard input. Tablet PC users can write using the local input panel and send that data through to a Terminal Server session.

Et je confirme ça marche très bien maintenant !
