Un rapport de la société d'étude d'évolution du marché In-Stat indique que le marché mondial du Tablet PC sera équivalent à $5,4 Milliards USD en 2009, pour un marché actuel de $1,2 Milliards USD en 2004

"Broad horizontal corporate markets should start to make an impact on the market in 2005, as average selling prices fall well below $2,000," says Brian O'Rourke, a senior analyst at In-Stat. "A combination of greater tablet PC software availability and [other] factors that directly address the corporate market should help tablet PC sales."
