Toshiba vient de mettre à jour son site web et présente son TabletPC: le Portege 3500.

La configuration est toujours la même:
•Processeur Intel® Mobile Pentium® III-M à 1,333 GHz
•256 Mo de mémoire vive extensible à 1024 Mo,
•Ecran TFT de 12''1 de technologie «Poly-silicium»
•Disque dur SMART de 40 Go
•Lecteur pour cartes au format SD™ Card et Compact Flash™

Dernière nouvelle, pas super: le prix annoncé est de 3500 Euros HT

UPDATE: je viens de le voir listé chez azimut au prix de 4072 Euros TTC

On y retrouve aussi le Viewsonic Viewpad 1100 à 3175 euros TTC

sorry for digging up such an old thread -
just bought a 3500 - p3, 1.3, 256 ram - and while i tried to play a divx file with media player classic, the processor goes to 100% and the frame rate is horrible.
I can't believe a p3 can't play a divx.
Is it something wrong with my machine? Any solutions?

effectively you seem have a problem on your tablet. I think you can try a new release of media player classic, or try BS player. a new installations of Divx Codecs is certainly an operation to try first. Uninstall the previous and install the last release

Just for reference this Tablet PC can be bought in Japan for $959.00 or 725 Euro and of course this is a BRAND NEW MODEL still in the box.

Pour info j ai vu ce tablet a Tokyo pour 725 euros, neuf encore dans leur boite j hesite a un prendre 1

je l'ai acheter pour 600 euros mais 2nd hand. Pen ne marche pas mais je'ai un autre de mon ancien wacom.
je suis en france pour un peu du temp (montpellier) - where can i look fr an extra battery and soem ram? any ideeas? onlie shops will do to i gues. French ones

Also it sems slow on following the pen movements. Still a software problem?

for RAM you must find generic SODIMM SDRAM PC133
