TabletPC'Corner: Toute l'information des Tablet PC

La société MODEL Technologies a réalisée un prototype de logiciel assez incroyable et quelque part révolutionnaire (surtout s'il fonctionne correctement) nommé ContextExplorer for MindManager® from Mindjet®.
Il permet de prendre toute source documentaire et de la transformer en Mindmap à l'aide d'une analyse du document et d'une hiérarchisation automatique (il va falloir vérifier le pertinence de cette hiérarchisation).

Je l'ai installé et testé. Il fonctionne très bien sous WORD 2003. XP Pro (Français)
Actuellement, le programme -anglais- ne donne aucune map. Il se situe un peu dans le type "Copernic Summarizer" pour les textes à résumer, mais est quand même différent en ce qui concerne la décomposition du texte dans ses branches principales (structure) et les infos fournies sur cette dernière.
Il décompose aussi des pages de site WEB au niveau de leur architecture.
Je suis évidemment très curieux de connaître son travail avec MManager 6.
Autre chose : l'équipe de développeurs basée à OTTAWA est hyper sympa (anglophone). Vous pouvez suivre sur le blog de MindManager :

Quelques explications données par le développeur

Roger Cavanagh asked me for a comment on an article by Douglas Woods posted on Ecademy: “What is Google Concept?” ( http://www.ecademy.com/node.php?id=62147 ).

The article was pointed by Martin Silcock.



In response to Roger’s invitation to comment on concept mining let me address 2 issues for discussion and probing the soundness of the product directions offered as it applies to the mind mapping discipline:



a) What is the current ContextExplorer capability for concept and text mining, and

b) What we propose to provide in short term in relation to full integration with MindManager and provision of Idea Library.

Analysis

Key phrases and summaries - ContextExplorer extracts key phrases (concepts, topics, ideas, subjects, thoughts) and produces concise summaries
Searches - a key phrase, or better, a combination of key phrases, can be instantly submitted to search engines: Google, MSN and AltaVista
Parsing search results - the search results can be parsed by ContextExplorer to extract the key phrases and summarize the search results
Relevance ranking - Key phrases are ranked by relevance to provide quick impression of document subject matter


Context

Spotlight - by selecting a key phrase you can identify related key phrases and see the original content extracts and learn more about the content surrounding your topic selection.
Focal point (topics) – constrain the view of summaries to the central key phrases of interest
Noise elimination – remove from view irrelevant key phrases and content
GoPhrases – automatically filter documents through a set of key phrases
Promote / Demote key phrases – fine tune your view for better focus
Variable length summaries – decide what level of detail suits you
