TabletPC'Corner: Toute l'information des Tablet PC

ACER est un des premiers constructeurs à annoncer un portable avec le Centrino intégré: le TravelMate 800. ce dernier peut donctionner durant 8heures en continue, pese 2.5 kg et a une epaisseur de 25.4 mm. Il intègre une Radeon 9000 avec 64 Mo de RAM et peut embarquer jusqu'à 2 Go de mémoire vive. les Specs sont ici

Suite à cete annonce, ils ont rajouté ça:

ps: HPClean je me suis permis de copier ton intitulé dans un forum ,mais j'ai bien designé auparavant la source et son auteur (cad toi et toi )
sinon si personne l'a fait avant je vous enverrais des photos façons "deballage de noel" du T102CTI

I've been playing these last weeks with a TravelMate 800 Centrino.

It is REALLY a wonderful machine: Integrated Ethernet card, integrated wireless card, integrated modem, integrated FireWire, integrated Infrared, 64 Mb video card with TV output, 512 Mb DDR Ram, CD writer + DVD,
loooong Battery life,................

*but* .... always there is a 'but':

NO LINUX SUPORT FOR:

-MODEM
-WIRELESS
-IRDA

So conectivity is severely reduced to wired LAN.

As long as your needs are well fitted working under Windows XP Travelmate will be by far the best quality/price option.

wrong , about the support for the wireless the standart install of RH9 detect it ( i dont use it yet but i presume that it ll work ) . About the onboard modem i m still searching dor a driver, the hsf drivers don t seem to wok despite of that the fact that the vendor s id seems to bz listed. :cry:
